This lovingly restored 18th-century farmhouse combines the rustic charm of an old stone structure with modern comforts, making it a delightful retro escape. One of the highlights of my stay was the exquisite breakfast served at a time that suited me, featuring everything from freshly-squeezed orange juice to delectable homemade cakes and locally-sourced delicacies. Each morning felt like a culinary adventure, lovingly prepared by the ever-enthusiastic host, Julie, who was incredibly accommodating. I enjoyed lounging on my romantic suite's large private terrace, which offered a perfect view of the stunning Catalan landscape as the sun began to set. Beyond the serene ambiance of the hotel, the strategic location made it effortless to explore numerous picturesque villages and historic sites, including the Dalí Triangle and the volcanic hills of the Garrotxa region. Mas Camins really encapsulates the essence of Catalonia's rich culture and delicious cuisine.
